Microsoft Mocks Siri in New 'Siri vs. Cortana: Bigger' Ad [Video]

Posted November 21, 2014 at 8:25pm by iClarified
Microsoft continues mocking Siri, the iPhone's personal assistant, in a new 'Siri vs. Cortana' ad entitled 'Bigger'.

In the ad, Cortana notices that Siri is now in the iPhone 6. She asks Siri if she can perform new functions. Siri replies, "No, I got bigger".

Maybe what you need isn’t a bigger phone, but a more personal, personal assistant. Cortana, on the Lumia 830, does more than Siri. Like alert you to leave early for an appointment using traffic alerts. Cortana can even remind you of things based on who calls or texts. Ready to meet your new personal assistant?

If you actually read what I said dear Apple Fanatic was that 1. Apple is NOT always overpriced at all and that the phones AND tablets are more than worth it, having tried Android, Windows and iOS based tablets AND phones. But not the desktops, they to me are overpriced. 2. I don't just buy preinstalled prebuilt desktop computers, I build them myself, install the software myself then fine-tune it all to my very extensive needs for a computer. True, a Microsoft computer isn't perfect at all but neither is an Apple computer. If I have to live with imperfection I rather have spent less on it. 3.Microsoft OVERPRICED their Surface tablet. 4. Siri is better than it used to be but still a mess. And if Apple is so much better than Microsoft then I expect Siri to be better by leaps and bounds than Cortana, which it is not. 5. That is why I said from the beginning that only NON-fanatics can see the true values in both Microsoft and Apple. And only the wise NON-fanatics get to enjoy it all. Oh by the way this is just a small scoop of the world, there are many more operating systems than iOS and Windows and they all have their positive AND their negative points. I just make sure I get the ones with the MOST positive points, whatever brand it is. That way I also broaden my knowledge.

ummm. Notification Center tells you how long you have to get someplace with traffic updates. I'm confused. You can ask Siri that.

traffic reminder is an App and it's not enough reason to consider MicroJunk. They really should worry about getting their Office 365 working correctly before trying to tackle another device. Reminding you of a missed call, really... I want to be told rather I can see or op to remind myself.. Indiocity

The first thing that came to my mind when you said I drove for 3 hours to get my iPhone 6, I was like "really...", then I remembered how just last year I sat in front of an apple store for 12 hours to get my iphone 5S.

Lol, isn't live fun? But yeah, some stuff is worth waiting in line for :-) Waited in line for hours on the first day for the 5S and then the next year for the 6 Plus. The 5 I got at Best Buy, only one left in the whole city a month or so later after launch. The 4s I got on eBay. First iPhone I found worthy of buying :-) All of them 64Gb. Next year I am standing in line again for the 6S Plus (or 6 Plus S, lol) but finally the 128Gb. Really hated the thought of a bigger iPhone in the beginning but after I used it... loving it. Apple proved me wrong with my small hands :-)

Why does bigger phone matter to the assistant? What about greater clearer responses. Don't have that cortana. Good, let it supine through.

When you can't stand on merit or make a logical based argument what is left but to mock.
