Trapster App Pulled From App Store, Service to Be Discontinued By the End of Year

Trapster has announced that it will discontinue the Trapster service by the end of the year.

The app let users help fellow drivers by reporting traps and hazards such as accidents, construction zones, traffic jams, live police, when spotted. Trapster drivers in the area were alerted to the issue and could slow down or change course.

Here is the email sent to iClarified announcing the decision:

---
After evaluating our ongoing investments, we have decided to discontinue the Trapster service by the end of the year.

It is hard to imagine saying goodbye after 7 years but we want to thank you for using Trapster and your loyalty to the Trapster community.

Thank you,
Team Trapster

This app was a waste of space. It did nothing and hardly anyone contributed to it.
