iWep Hacking Application for iPhone in Beta

iWep Hacking Application for iPhone in Beta

An early beta of iWep, a wireless hacking application for iPhones, is now available for testing.

The application developed by Wazowski requires the MobileInstalltion Patch and the libpcap and libnet libraries to run the application.

The current implementation of the application requires the network to be named WLAN_XX and the BSSID to begin with 00:02:CF as is apparently common in Spain.

Future updates will bring improved stability of the application, increase the speed of search, increase the type of networks to scan, develop method to pause and restart the search, and create networks and historical keys found.

You can take a look at some screenshots below or download the beta via the Read More link.

This is ment to work only in Spain and with Telefonica's access points named WLAN_XX because with some reverse engineering, the comunity here in spain, has discovered the algorithm they use to create the WEP password (it has to be with the ap mac adress and de XX on the essid name) leaving us with aproximatley 4.000 possible keys. This app then uses bruteforce by testing each of those 4000 keys at 1 key per sec.

The only thing you have to do is to read the manual. By the moment it only works in Spain.
