Location Based Errand Reminders

Matt Martindale has released the latest update for iPhone users. Locationizer 1.1 saves users time, money, and fuel by reminding them about important errands based on their current location. Adding a location is as simple as tapping the screen and stretching a circle around the "Reminder Zone". The next time the user enters that Reminder Zone, Locationizer 1.1 delivers a reminder, via push notification, that they have a nearby errand to complete.
Locationizer 1.1 features include
* Uses push notifications to give location based reminders
* Simple user Interface
* Runs in the background while conserving battery life
* Automatic continuous updates when iPhone is plugged into charger
* "Master" on/off switch
* Ability to turn each reminder on or off
* Ability to turn continuous updates on or off
* Enter distances in miles or kilometers
* See all reminders on a convenient list
To enter a new location, users simply scroll through their contacts, search for an address, or mark the location on the map. The map interface is simple and intuitive. Using familiar, gesture based controls, users just pan the map, zoom in on their desired location, and tap the screen to mark their reminder zone. They can also adjust the reminder radius, which may be set in miles or kilometers.
All reminders can be viewed in one location on an easy to read checklist. From the list screen, reminders can also be edited, deleted, or individually turned on or off. Turning a reminder on or off is as easy as tapping its checkbox. Locationizer 1.1 was designed to make using it as easy, quick, and intuitive as possible.
This app runs quietly in the background to conserve power usage. By updating the current location every 30 minutes, Locationizer 1.1 can let users know when they're in the area of a set reminder. They can also turn on the "Continuous Updates" mode to ensure that they don't miss an important reminder between updates, although the app uses more power in this configuration. Continuous Updates mode is automatically enabled when the device is plugged into a charger. This allows unlimited updates without draining the battery.
Locationizer 1.1 can be used for much more than just an errand-reminder. Users who regularly commute through radar traps or past radar activated cameras can also make use of Locationizer 1.1 to avoid the headache and expense of speeding tickets. By setting Reminder Zones around these areas, they will always be alerted to check their speed before they are in range of the radar.
