Retina-X Studios has announced the immediate availability of the Mobile Spy LIVE Control Panel. Using this groundbreaking mobile surveillance technology, users can, for the first time, visually monitor their child or employee's smartphone instantaneously. The new LIVE Control Panel is part of a broader release of Mobile Spy's latest version 5.0. This new major release also adds the ability for users to have activity logs delivered directly to their email address. The latest version also adds silent SMS commands for monitoring and recovering a smartphone.
Mobile Spy runs in total stealth mode and no mentions of the program are shown inside the phone. After the software is set up on the phone, it silently records logs of SMS text messages, call information, GPS locations, photos and other activities. Immediately after activities are logged, they are silently uploaded to the user's private online account. Accounts can be checked online from any web browser without needing further access to the phone.
The LIVE Control Panel add-on displays a monitored phone's actual screenshot and a map of the phone's current location. This information is updated every 90 seconds. Within the LIVE Control Panel, users can issue commands such as initiate a normal call to any number, lock or unlock the phone or get SIM card information. Another advantage of the add-on is the enabling of Log Delivery via Email. All Mobile Spy logs can then be automatically sent to the user's email address at set intervals.
Mobile Spy v5.0 also adds silent SMS commands for surveillance and recovery. The user sends their monitored phone an SMS with a command. The software recognizes the SMS and keeps it hidden from view. The software performs the command and sends a silent SMS back to the user with the results. Commands include GPS Location, SIM information, Lock/Unlock phone and the ability to wipe the phone's data completely.

I think that sums up your ramble about how you think users are too stupid or evil to be trusted with their phones.
Oh, the government can wiretap my phone, but I cannot? Tell me, why won't apple allow users to record our own phone calls, as currently allowed by law?
Because average people should not be trusted to record conversations with their grandmothers or children? It would be like banning cameras to stop child porn or something. This is what evil looks like. Empowering users to control their own data is what good companies do, like google.
First off I never said anyone was to stupid for anything so please don't put words in my mouth. What I said is "giving the average person the ability to spy". You want to spy on your own phone by all means do it but it opens up a door for people to install it on others phones like your wife, girlfriend, husband, boyfriend, friend, co-worker, colleague, etc. Especially if it hides the program from plain view. If you read this part "Peoples phones are their privacy..." you can see it has nothing to do with trusting people with their own phones its more about that we all deserve our privacy. When you give people the ease to spy easily then that's just it, it becomes easy. So you may start to spy on everything. You don't need to hire a private detective or contact your phone company for records. So pretty much you start to have TAPS on everyone you feel you don't trust and can get the program on their phone. I mean really you think that people that want to just record there phone calls are going to get a program this elaborate? Also with all the background reporting this program does your going to add to killing someones battery life also. And yes the government can wiretap our phones and its completely different then this subject because they don't care if you lied that you said you would be one place when really you were at another or you said that you wouldn't call this person anymore when you still do. Also I can't believe you mentioned google, google apparently has one of the largest profile databases period which the CIA uses. But that's a much bigger topic. My was referring to personal privacy within our day to day and the people we associate with not big government privacy issues. That's the comment "giving the average person the ability to SPY". I do love how you chopped my comment took what you wanted from it and tried to tear it apart. Out of context rebuttal is very constructive.
But doesn't MobileMe work although location services is off?! This may follow a similar process.
