Tumblr Blog Launched to Help Catch MacBook Thief

Joshua Kaufman, a designer living in San Francisco, has launched a Tumblr blog with photos of the person who apparently stole his MacBook in hopes of getting it back.

The blog entitled "This Guy Has My MacBook" includes several close up pictures of the alleged thief as well as screenshot of him deleting Kaufman's user account.

The photos and screenshots are being obtained via Hidden a Mac OS X application designed to help you recover your stolen laptop. Hidden claims to be able to locate your "computer anywhere on the planet to within a few meters!"

It's unclear why Kaufman hasn't simply been able to provide the location to the police or whether the person in possession of the laptop now is the original thief or if he obtained the stolen property from someone else.
