TJ Maxx to Sell the iPad 2 for $399 Tomorrow?

TJ Maxx is reportedly holding a door-buster sale on the iPad 2 tomorrow, selling the 16GB Wi-Fi version for $399, reports The Verge.

Apparently, supplies will be limited, likely to around 15 per store, so each location is likely to sell out fairly early. The deal recapitulates the same sale TJ Maxx held last year for the original iPad, right down to the $100 discount (which may or may not have been anything more than a publicity stunt instead of an actual sale given the small quantities actually in stock).

The site has not received solid confirmation from the company as of yet and recommends calling ahead to make sure your local store is participating in the promotion.
