Walmart iPhone Price Drop Was a 'Pricing Error'

Walmart has issued a statement on the recent price drop of the iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 at various locations telling 9to5Mac it was a 'pricing error'.

Walmart just responded to 9to5Mac's inquiry and said the retail chain "experienced a pricing error in limited stores" yesterday. The company spokesperson said the issue has been addressed and normal prices are now in effect: 16GB iPhone 4S for $188, iPhone 4 for $88, and iPhone 3GS for $0.97.

Coolguy: yes!!! Read his his first comment first before commenting on it! They are NOT selling the 16GB 3GS. Do you see an 8GB 3GS on that picture?

wtf? why does it say 16GB 3gs $0.97? the discontinued that after the iphone 4 was released,

No, 3gs 8GB is still sold by apple. Only A&T though
