LG has announced that it's begun mass production of a thinner display for the next generation iPhone, report Reuters.

The statement from the company's CEO was embargoed until this morning.

Reuters reiterates previous rumors that Apple will unveil 4-inch iPhone with in-cell touch panel technology on September 12th.

Sharp has also announced that it will start shipping screens destined for the next iPhone this month.

Just fuckibg great. Anything lg makes sucks ass! My LG HE, washer and French door fridge only lasted 2 years before breaking down. Hope they do a better job making screens.
