Something has to be up, if T-mobile in Europe gets the iPhone but not in the U.S., and something must be in the kick backs that come from t-mobile to Apple, that have made apple mad.

T-Mobile Germany was one of the original three launch partners of the iPhone in 2007. Their assigned band in the USA has been incompatible for use with the iPhone until recently. Expect full compatibility in USA in 2013. Already available in select US cities.

TMobile frequencies are supported. In hind sight, Tmobile CEO laid the correct bet not to mortgage the entire company just to be able to sell iPhones. He used the windfall $ to build out LTE to lure people who are willing to pay up front for the phone and get the lower priced service with no contract. Good planning on their part and good math for users. Extra $40 times 24 months is $960. The iPhone costs $599 tax. Cancel anytime if you are not happy. That's another $380 saving.

Are any of those for pre-pay phone service, like possibly Cricket? I was wondering how the specialized LTE design would affect those phones.
