Rovio, creator of the popular Angry Birds game, has shared the first gameplay footage of their new Bad Piggies game.
Yahoo! Games has the exclusive scoop on the gameplay in Bad Piggies, the next chapter in the Angry Birds saga. This time around, you'll play as the antagonistic porkers, but not by mercilessly flinging them at walls. Instead, Bad Piggies takes a page from game maker Rovio's other recent hit, Amazing Alex, by letting players build curious contraptions for the pigs as they set out to steal more of those delicious eggs. You'll craft all sorts of shoddy vehicles, from rickety flying machines to creaky jalopies, and then steer your hunk of junk through winding courses as you try to "three-star" the levels.
"As far as the gameplay goes, Bad Piggies and Angry Birds are complete opposites," Petri Jarvilehto, EVP of Games at Rovio told Y! Games. "Angry Birds smash things up, Bad Piggies build stuff. The pigs are all about making plans and building things, even -- and especially -- when they don't work!"
Bad Piggies will be released on September 27 for iOS and Android users.
