it's the new CEO making dumb moves Against the consumer. Spending R&D on making sure you can't downgrade and constructing a non-universal connector that is extremely tough to duplicate? And not including an adapter with the 1st generation products? Coming out with an iPad4 that has no real improvement but aforementioned adapter? Suing every other company for another few bucks? Jobs had one thing right that slowly disappeared as these iterations went along where if you make the consumer happy enough by including some features and making sure they work well and are contructed well then they'll spend their money.

Apple needs to either allow jailbreaking (never going to happen) or maybe let off on preventing it so much. I'd say the majority of my friends and family have an idevice and it is jailbroken. Out of those same people probably 95% of them say they would never want an idevice if it was not jailbroken. and I agree with them. Galaxy s devices, here I come if the iPhone stops being able to jailbreak.

Lol, spoken like a true hardcore Apple fan :-) Don't get me wrong, like I said, MOST Apple products are great dependable products. They never came out first with the fastest processors, the highest megapixel camera, etc. They played it safe, which is fine, that is better than for instance having a phone that is supposed to be the fastest, the seemingly highest quality camera and screen resolution but hangs every so often. But the iPad Mini came out after the iPhone 4S, thus after Retina Display, etc. So to downgrade quality for an over priced 400 bucks would not be very smart unless having way too much money to blow. Other tablets in that low level quality bracket sell for 99 bucks so should not even be of comparison due to the price difference. Now if willing to go up in price of tablets to compare, there are smaller and bigger tablets out there still a lot cheaper with better quality screen and processor, etc. Plenty of apps do support better speed a better screen.
