Their using old maps; perhaps they know if they use current maps for the samples, lawyers, companies and anyone else that will pay a lawyer to bring a lawsuit to court will do so.

Now, why build this app without retina display or for the screen of the iphone 5? The app looks like it was built for a 10 year old Nokia with X too small to even hit with a finger...DUH! At least outside of the states IOS maps is way better.. all hype no substance...

Ohh my goodness - now I truly understand meaning of sentence "Apple beautiful maps" - guys this is crap. 15 years old satellite images, totally inaccurate. I know that google has long term dominance on maps market, and I really appreciate any new, because "f*ck google" but this is the ugliest map app I've ever seen. Go apple go and make your maps better, because I see that there is plenty room for improvements and as far as I can see even Nokia is not perfect. No-Nokia.
