AnoStyle Will Color Your iPhone 5 for $249, iPad Mini for $299

AnoStyle is offering a service that will customize your iPhone 5 or iPad Mini with a color of your choice.

Our process does not involve simple painting or covering. Rather, we use a process called anodization, and we've found a unique method that allows us to deliver the best results each and every time. Anodization actually involves a specialized chemical process that creates the desired color change. This means under normal use, our AnoStyle products won't chip or wear like traditional paints and coatings do. Once the color transformation is complete, we run your device through our 21-point test to ensure that it is working perfectly.

The iPhone 5 service costs $249 and lets you choose from the following colors: Red, Pink, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Teal, Green, Violet, Gold, Copper, Bronze, and Blue Steel.

The iPad Mini service costs $299 and offers the same color selection.

BGR tried out the service before its launch yesterday. You can see their results below...

If it was $50, they'd probably get more sales. I wouldn't mind a red and white version.

299$ is beyond ripped off. Other shop that does repair and colors charges 150-90$ for it. They are good at what they do.

Just because you cannot afford it, doesn't mean others can't. Get a job and stop whining about 250$.

Oh wow are you kidding me? Just get an anodizing kit and do it yourself, this cost maybe $25-$35 to do, I mean seriously this is a joke to me that they charge that much. They’re worse than zeetron.

Why? Just don't buy an iPhone 5 if you don't like it

Haha! Did you even read it well. I have all Apple devices. I just don't need to that much for coloring. It's useless. My iPad and my iPhone decals looks 100 times better than these stupid coloring.

And the decals cost only $10 each.

Really? Which body shop would color your iPhone 5 for $249?

Obviously you don't live around the border area to know that body shops here are cheaper and they do a good job.

To bad that will void your warranty if you do that. I would know I work for apple. So don't do it unless your device is already out of warranty!!!!!

Too much money for the useless service. I paid much less for my iPhone 4S. I prefer a case anyhow since I get bored often and find switching them helps a lot. Next update we will be able to change the color scheme within the phone I hope.
