Facebook Mobile Ads Can Now Install Apps Without Launching the App Store

Facebook has announced that its mobile ads can now install iOS apps without forcing users to leave the Facebook app and launch the App Store.

Mobile app install ads drive installs by taking people directly to the App Store or Google Play. Now, people on iOS 6 can install an app without leaving their Facebook experience. When they click on an ad, the App Store will appear in another dialog box. After installing the app, they will be able to continue where they left off on Facebook.

This is a pretty big deal for advertisers because now it won't be an inconvenience for users to click their ads.

Facebook also announced that advertisers will be able to customize their ad creative directly from the the app dashboard, power editor, or the ads API. In addition, app insights have been upgraded to provide demographic breakdown of all app installs on mobile.

Just another way Facebook is screwing its members. Like using Instagram to sell its members profiles to advertisers without recompense to the member. Deleted my account
