The Emperor has no clothes!! It’s very easy to see what turns people away from Windows 8 and makes them wanting to buy Apple's Macs.. What would YOU choose.. Windows 8 or Mac OS X? I dare you to take a look at the following pic: http://tinyurl.com/cyqd8qd It's a no brainer.. People will buy something that is attractive to the eyes.. Windows 8 is UGLY ! ! Microsoft STRIPPED AERO GLASS THEME from Windows 8.. Hired a bunch of three year-old kids that took the rectangular tool in Windows PAINT and created the Windows 8 METRO UI.. WOAA ! ! The smoothly elegant 3D rounded glass windows of Aero have been replaced by ONE COLOR Tiles that are two-dimensional, dull with hard, sharp corners and no drop shadows to smooth out looks, create depth and indicate which window is focused. ALSO.. Windows 8's Metro Start is: Vista’s GADGETS renamed Tiles made dull, OVERSIZED, with ugly colors and pushed down your throat ! ! Not only it looks awful with those one color Tiles but Windows 8 is SO RESTRICTIVE.. IT’S LIKE A BRICK ! ! ! ! I dare you to read about at least 30 IRRITATING annoyances built into Windows 8: http://tinyurl.com/9dohn5z The solution is simple: Microsoft should give back to Windows 8 Desktop the Aero Glass Theme and the Start Button/Menu .. Remove Metro and install Windows 8 Desktop only in Laptop and Desktop PC's. Give Metro Tiles the Aero Glass Theme but install Metro ONLY in touchscreen tablets ! ! That is: Windows 8 touch edition. Windows 8 Desktop/laptop edition. Stop trying to force a circle into a square hole. From a Windows 7 fanatic. ff
