Audi and Slot Mods USA have built a large handcrafted 20 ft x 7 ft custom slot race car track featuring 1:32 scale Audi A4 cars that can be raced using an iPad. The iPad controls the speed of the car and shows a real-time video feed from a driver perspective camera mounted in the car.

Go behind the scenes of the Audi quattro Experience - a one-of-a-kind interactive installation that put participants in the driver's seat of a custom-made 1:32 scale Audi A4 to test their on-track skills using the world's first iPad enabled slot car controller.

Captured through the eyes of track maker David Beattie of Slot Mods USA, the film offers a unique look into his personal story, passion for the art of custom track design and the sport of slot car racing. It also delves into the process and challenges his team faced to execute a project with so many innovative features.

You can actually race the track if you're in the Toronto area. From the video the installation appears to be at Bay & Wellington; although, a call to your nearest Audi dealership to find its current location would be a good idea.

Take a look at the video below...

awesome, would be better if they made one w/Mazda RX7, RX8 and speed3's or multiple car brands like toyota supras, Mitsubishi evos and older dodge model such as 68-69 charger and challengers, but otherwise this is pretty sick
