to unlock iPhone, even not jailbroken, go to ebay and search IMEI unlock
I have unlocked 2 ATTUsa iPhones that way, an iPhone 5, and an iPhone 4

BET! although most of Cydia will be congested for the first couple of weeks or so...im stoked, now I can tether my iPhone 5 unlimited lte data to my new iPad w/out having to pay more or change my grandfathered data package.
