The iOS 6.1.1 beta released yesterday by Apple does not block the Evasi0n jailbreak; however, it is expected to before the final build is released.

Pod2g, a member of the Evad3rs dev-team, tweets:

6.1.1 beta (10B311) does not fix the jailbreak. It'll probably happen in a future revision. Don't upgrade though, evasi0n won't let you jb.

The new firmware features major changes to Japan's Maps but little else.

Well, duh! Does Apple have any choice? The Jailbreak depends on security holes. The problem isn't that the team revealed how the jailbreak works to Apple. They also revealed the security holes to the entire world.

OF COURSE BECAUSE EVASION'S TEAM EXPLAINED HOW THE JAILBREAK WAS DONE. IF THEY DIDN'T MAYBE THERE WOULD BE A CHANCE OF IT NOT BEING BLOCKED. THEY WROTE ABOUT EVERY SINGLE HOLE THEY USED IN THE JB!

You don't think Apple had reverse engineered it already? Moron.

Even if they didn't say anything, the jailbreak is easily within Apple's reach and they can figure it out on their own. They kept their mouth shut in the past and didn't stop Apple one bit on closing the hole.

The jailbreak can be applied if the device is unlocked and connected to a usb port on a PC or WINDOWS so... except in case of a robbery, I don't see any security issue. Now, once the device has been jailbroken + AppSync installed, it is another story!!! Anybody can make a USEFUL (but malicious) tweak and you will be screwded because SAURIK (Cydia owner) won't control every tweaks and apps published on cydis repos. Therefore, I highly recommend to install FirewallIP so that you will see what traffic going IN and OUT your device. You'll be quite surprised! After having seen pod2g and planetbeing twits, I've realized that they are retarded teenagers who are clearly loosing their energy for bullshit. And they fu@#ing didn't know what AppSync was... when it relies on a trick they have obviously used (MISCopySignerCertificateData & MISValidateSignatureAndCopyInfo...). A device can easily be jailbroken with a developer account and I'm not impressed by what they did this time. It is well know by developers since 3.1!!! What was impressive what the PDF breach exploited by COMEX (jailbreakme.com!)... dangerous and crazy hole! Apple management is happy about this jailbreak (I'm not talking about theur IOS & SEC engineers/tech)... I'm mean, evasi0n has saved their SALES!!!
