We won't get the 6.1.1 patch because iPhone five users have no reason to use 3G Besides it's really rushed even if they do release it to us I doubt they Had the time to patch a kernel panic all the way

iOS 6.1.1 beta 1 is fully jailbreakable, so hopefully, this will last into the final code. I thought I hadn't missed the jailbreak when I upgraded to the iPhone 5, but Cydia and the JB apps are just awesome and have really matured a LOT. The iOS 6.1 bugs don't apply to how most everyone uses their iPhone 5's. 4S is a different issue.

Fucking Apple. Since Jobs passed away these dipshits have been running it into the ground. If they knew there was a high profile key communications bug in 6.1 they should have pulled it from download until 6.1.1 was available. Apple - playing fast and loose with your hardware...Microsoft style!

That would be a software issue not hardware, Don't try to Sounds like you know what your talking about you when you don't

Even if apple releases this it's highly possible the 'fix' can come out as a patch on cydia. It's happened numerous times before.

Ha ha i knew it! They introduced a bug on purpose in the 6.1 update so that after the jb is released they will release a new update and at the same time fix the jb.

Probably the carrier problems aren't the main issue here. I bet the update also closes the possibility of a jailbreak!

Perhaps Apple will close the hole for the jailbreak with this update. However, I seriously doubt that that is a priority in this case.
