The size of these ancillaries are beginning to be substantial and Apple’s ecosystem may begin to be valued more than just as an incentive to buy the devices. Dediu notes that iTunes has grown over 30% over the previous two years with revenue of $13.5 billion in 2012 and $10.2 billion in 2011. iTunes is now Apple's fourth largest business overtaking the iPod. It could even overtake the Mac to become the third largest business this year.
