T-Mobile to Finally Announce It's Getting the iPhone Tomorrow?

Posted March 25, 2013 at 11:07pm by iClarified
T-Mobile is set to announce that it will carry the iPhone at a press event tomorrow, reports CNET.

Apple's flagship device, long a gap in T-Mobile's smartphone lineup, will play a prominent role in tomorrow's "Uncarrier" event, according to a person familiar with the launch plans. The iPhone is critical to T-Mobile's plans to remake itself as the "different" carrier. It will be the marquee product illustrating its new no-contract, no-subsidy rules, where a customer pays a small fee upfront and pays a monthly charge on top of the service plan to cover the phone costs.

T-Mobile also hopes the iPhone will stop the exodus of subscribers from its service. Additionally, it will showcase its 4G LTE network which will support the iPhone 5, BlackBerry Z10, and Galaxy Note 2. The iPhone won't be immediately available, according to the site's sources.

Yesterday, T-Mobile unveiled new contract-free plans which are easily configurable for multiple devices and data tiers.

Why do all you here think IPhone is the best. Why sign up for a 3 or 2 year contract just to get a phone AND..... you still have to pay$159.for that phone

I have been on T-mobile's network since Aug last year. Moved over from Sprint. I was given an old iPhone 3g which was previously serviced through ATT. I did a bit of preliminary reading on their website and ordered the SIM activation kit for $1.49 or something like that, which I got in a few days. The no-contract plan I chose gives me 1500 mins or texts or any combo of the 2 adding up to 1500 plus 30mb of data each month. $30.00 flat
