Upcoming Nokia Lumia 928 Smartphone Leaked [Images]

Images of the upcoming Nokia Lumia 928 for Verizon have leaked online via @evleaks and been confirmed authentic by The Verge. The Lumia 928 is a tweaked version of the 920 that is slightly thinner, has an OLED display, and supports simultaneous voice and data.

The Verge can confirm that the image is in fact genuine. We understand that Verizon is still planning to unveil the handset this month, but that the company will not be using an aluminum frame for this particular device as originally reported. Nokia is said to be using a thinner polycarbonate on the Lumia 928, reserving its aluminum frames for future Lumia devices including the EOS and Catwalk. The Lumia 928 will be slightly thinner than the Lumia 920, measuring 10.2mm at its thinnest point and 11.2mm at its thickest with a slightly curved back. The Lumia 928 also sports a 4.5-inch OLED display and support for simultaneous voice and LTE (SVLTE).

Does JONY IVES really want to make iOS7 with FLAT boring iCONS like we see in the WINDOWS TILES? It would be so wrong... and not differentiating the platform nor would it help the user. It Might look simple - but that is the beauty of iOS... the system is so simple so pure - dressing up and appearing complex makes it far more exciting. Dumbing down the UI to a sterilized "helvetica" sans style WOULD only strip away what Apple has offered the world. And worse appear as not a leader but a follower. Jony should be very careful - and doing so could mean his job.

Nokia is making same mistake that pulled them down - they releasing too may models instead of consentratig on few - making those the best they can. Having range of too many phones is impossible to keep releasing top shit of each of them.

Yes, Apple offers three levels of its phone already. By offering different storage capacities we have a choice as what to pay for. So there is already a inexpensive iPhone... not that one needs to buy last years model. Regarding iPad - there are 6 levels offered. 3 storage capacities and cellular connectivity. iPad mini - offers the same 6 levels as iPad - yet screen size becomes the most obvious. With Apple - we have a lot of choices already... hope iPad mini/phone <--- becomes the latest option. This will solve the battle of Screen size over Samsung. One device - for all your mobile needs... and Apple shall reign with the largest most efficient, simplest Phone of all TIMES. Only from Apple can there be a iPad Killer or iPhone Killer. iPad mini/phone. Apples secret move.

This seems to be a real rival to the iPhone. Nokia has started to claw back the market through innovation and interesting gadgets.
