Crappy phone is now crappier ( i have both iphone 5 and GS III ). Guess which one im talking about? Yea the GSIII - Had to disable all the Samsung bloatware services and it cant navigate to exchange sub folders in mail. These are simple things that have been in iPhone 5 since a while. Stop focusing on bullshit "Innovation" and get the foundations right. I bet if the basketball commercial was real, the sound would be synchronized between all the devices. Its a problem with steaming AirPlay music to multiple devices. Not to mention the processing and network bandwidth requirements even with 802.1n. The iPhone 5 is rock sold and doesn't crash like Android. I will be getting the new iPhone when it comes out. Call me what you like, but ive tried all platforms (BBZ10 also) with the exception of WP8 and put them through their paces with VPN / Multiple Mail accounts / Remote Desktop (VNC / RDP / teamviewer) / Screen quality / ecosystem / compatibility with 3rd party accessories (Jawbone Up) / App Quality / Music Management and Synchronization / NEED I SAY MORE? Nothing beats iPhone 5 ATM!!!

Meant to say "de-synchronized" instead of "synchronized"

Shall we hi light all of apple's shortcomings and lack of innovation..
Laser Mouse - April 10, 2013 at 10:54pm
I think s/he is trying to say that even though both platforms have their own shortcomings, Android has more than iOS, and that Google / Samsung is more focused on creating "innovative" software while the platform is still lacking basic communication (and other?) requirements.

Really, he or she should look on apple support forums on which people rant on about legitimate issues with wifi connectivity, push, battery drain, calendar and Exchange issues so severe that some corporations were actually blocking ios 6.1 . These things seem pretty basic to me

I also tried to see if I'd like to switch and got the top Windows Phone, the HTC 8X. It's crap, mostly. The platform, not the phone. GF has the Galaxy S III, which is, well, not bright enough, battery life is a joke, she's got ads in some of her apps and wishes she could buy the paid version but there isn't one. The list goes on and on. She HATES it. I actually like HTC. I'm getting the HTC One but only as a 2nd phone. My main phone is the always-reliable iPhone 5. The battery lasts for more than 2 hours, too. I can't remember the last time I had to reboot my iPhone.

I don't expect everyone to be sitting on the higher end of the bell curve when it comes to dealing with technical problems. The masses will indicate every problem under the sun. As far as im concerned, the iPhone 5 is rock solid. I'm not even going to start talking about the build quality and the fact that they brought super-high tolerance mechanical engineering process to a CONSUMER DEVICE at an affordable price (affordable mainly due to the forecasted sales volume). There is no other like it.

That's real innovation & quick to market, with Samsung android apps will gel. After Jobs apple is really went to way behind in competition.
