Google to Launch Google Play Music All Access for iOS in a Couple Weeks

Sundar Pichai, senior vice president for Android, Chrome and Google Apps at Google, reveals that Google Play Music All Access will launch for iOS in a couple weeks.

Pichai made the announcement in an interview at the D11: All Things Digital conference.

"In Google’s DNA, we wanted to be universally accessible. The goal with search was to make it work for everyone in the world, and I think that philosophy extends today. We brought Google Now to iOS. A couple weeks from now we will launch Google Play Music All Access for iOS, the teams are working like crazy to do it. We care about reaching users all over the world, including the five billion users who don’t have smartphones today."


Google Play Music All Access, is a new music subscription service from the search giant. You can learn more about it here.

Until the official app is released, iOS users can access the service via the gMusic app for iOS.

Unfortunately, gMusic is broken at the moment. It's having problems logging a user into Google.
