More images of the next generation Nexus 7 have surfaced -- this time they are official press images of the device. Google is expected to formally unveil the new tablet this Wednesday.

The back of the device has been switched to a new matte black finish. The tablet also receives a 5MP rear camera and a new speaker grill at the top of the device. No other major changes can be seen from the front of the device except the camera has been moved slightly to the right. The time on the device clock is 4:30, which points to Android 4.3 being the launch OS.

Additionally, a leaked Best Buy ad has the device being released on July 30th at a $229 price point for the 16GB model. The ad is scheduled to go live July 28th and the flyer clearly says "Available Tuesday."
