Verizon Responds to AT&T's 'Most Reliable Network' Claim

Verizon Responds to AT&T's 'Most Reliable Network' Claim

Posted July 22, 2013 at 6:51pm by iClarified
Last week AT&T claimed it had the "nation's fastest and now most reliable 4G LTE network" according to an independent study.

That claim did not sit well with Verizon, who has often used the same 'most reliable' claim. Today, Verizon has responded with a full paged ad, citing it has spent over $7 billion annually to build and maintain their network. The carriers also notes that it's achieving the most awards by RootMetrics for top overall call, text and data performance.

Others have tried to claim reliability. But to us it's not a hollow claim. Or a slogan. Or a fancy ad campaign.

Verizon never directly disputes AT&T but rather wants to let the consumer to make the ultimate decision.

Funny article. I have yet to see any significant difference between the two 'major' players. Most so-called studies have shown Verizon first and ATT last for reliability. This has been consistent. However, it has always been incredibly close between Verizon in 1st place and ATT in 4th place, usually less than a 1% difference. So it simply comes down to location. Use what works best for you. As far as customer service, ATT wins by default. ATT's customer service is generally useless. But Verizon's representatives are rude and arrogant in addition to not knowing anything about cell phones or cellular service. What a choice!

Worst customer service, not just in the cell phone industry, in the entire world easily goes to Verizon. They are simply incompetent. It's great if you have good service and don't ever have to deal with them. Otherwise, it is an absolute nightmare.

AT&T wouldn't exist now if it wasn't for the iPhone, and now they can't be bothered by their Apple iOS customers. I see no use in using them, but as others have commented, it depends where you live. If you have no other options, you have no choice!

AT&T: We let the NSA spy on our customers more than the others. Verizon: Hell no. We let the NSA spy on ALL of our customers.
