Refurbished Apple TV Drops $10 to New $75 Price Point

While a new Apple TV retails for $99, the refurbished one just dropped $10 (previously $85) to a new $75 price. While the Chromecast comes in at $35, it does not pack as many features as the Apple TV has.

Originally released March 2012, Apple TV gives you anytime access to endless entertainment. Thousands of HD movies and TV shows from iTunes — many in stunning 1080p — play through Apple TV on your HDTV, and music and photos stream from your computer.

It is possible that this price drop is a reaction to Google's Chromecast, although that most likely isn't the case since Apple periodically drops prices on refurbished products, especially as the products life cycle.
