A number of states are on the verge of hosting a 'sales tax holiday' often referred to as 'tax free weekend' and Apple is making sure customers in those states take advantage of the offer.

Customers in ten states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee are receiving emails reminding them of the tax break on select products.

There is also a feature page on Apple's website that reminds users of the days the tax free period is, according to their state.

Each state has different rules regarding which products qualify, so make sure you double check the dates and rules before heading to your local Apple Store!

Mass Sales Tax is 6.25%... If businesses were to advertise a sale offering a discount of this size we would laugh as we drove past it... Say the words "Tax Free" and we break down the doors!!! Humans are STUPID!!!!!
