The Pebble Smartwatch app has been updated to add incoming email notification support for Gmail and generic IMAP email services.

- Configure email notifications (Gmail and generic IMAP services)
- Notifies you when software updates for Pebble ready to install

- Sends test messages and test phone calls to your Pebble
- Helps you troubleshoot issues

MetaWatch already have all these features long time ago for iOS or Android and I think is much better than Pebble. Don't know why media have this hype with Pebble..Anyway emails notifications alongside with any program notification are intrinsically incorporated over Bluetooth if you kind of reset from notification menu the specific application that you want to be notified; downside is that anytime you lost comm btw watch and iPhone you need to redo process in notification menu except for calls and (i)messages...
