During that time, the carrier also announced the available of 4G LTE in 109 additional markets -- so just because you don't see a particular market on the list does not mean it will not be receiving LTE treatment.

LTE was also expanded in Shreveport/Bossier Area, Livingston Parish, St. Martin Parish, Lafayette County, Panola County, Northern Rensselaer County And Southeastern Saratoga County Albany County.

Customers can enjoy faster download/upload speeds, lower latency, and more efficient use of spectrum with LTE. iPhone users should note that only the iPhone 5 has LTE enabled (iPhone 4/4S have HSPA), so you'll need to upgrade to enjoy these faster speeds.

AT&T has launched 233 new markets in 2013 with plans to reach over 400 markets by the end of 2013, covering 270 million people.
