Apple has sent an email to customers announcing that iPhone 5s orders will begin at 12:01 a.m. PST on September 20th.

Buy iPhone 5s from the Apple Online Store
after 12:01 a.m. PST on September 20. Or visit
your favorite Apple Retail Store starting
at 8:00 a.m. on September 20.

Unfortunately, there are no pre-orders for the iPhone 5s so the only way to get the device on launch day will be to wait in line.

It may appear to be the same look on the outside but the technology on the inside has improved a lot. For instance check out the A7 CPU, the new camera and flash, the M7 co processor.

There's a rumour that they are giving something special to those getting the 5s. Some marketing gimmick.

they just don't have enough 5S for everybody yet and every day that pass they make more, it got nothing to do with the line, they probably don't even have enough for the people that are waiting in line or they will move iPhones from stores with out lines to the ones with that all it is!

Obviously they are fearing the lines might not be long enough therefore they don't want anyone pre-ordering 5Ses beforehand ...
