Alongside the release of iOS 7.1 beta, Apple has released new Apple TV 6.1 beta firmware to developers.

We are in the process of testing the new firmware releases and will let you know if anything new is found.

for what ? We don't need to know about the new firmwares if there is no Jailbreak for it.. My sshit works just fine. Why would anyone update their Apple TV2 ? That would be a f**cking retarted if you ask me. If I want an Update I will will buy an APPLE TV 3RD Gen. Then who f**cking cares

curious, may I ask when we are able to jail break Apple TV what will the Apple TV be like when JB?What will be the new things that we can get? Please let me know

As far as I know, you can still only Jailbreak the Apple TV 2. With mine, I have it jailbroken and running xbox media center. As far as I know, it makes you able to stream movies without going through iTunes and multiple video formats. There are also a few other apps that I havent really messed with.
