The ad starts out on a ski lift where a Galaxy Gear owner uses his impressive technology to get the phone number of a girl who is with another man. The owner then proceeds to follow her off the lift snapping pictures and video of her snowboarding down the hill.
He then bumps into the girl again at a bar where is she is again with the other man. Again the smartwatch's 'amazing' technology is able to help him steal away the girl from her bumbling companion.
Samsung ends the ad by asking, "Are you geared up?".
The ad is a sharp contrast to the more emotional ad that Apple decided to go with this Christmas. You can check out Apple's new ad here.
