Posted December 29, 2013 at 4:47pm by iClarified
Samsung Display has posted a video entitled 'Display Centric World' in which it imagines a world filled with its touchscreen displays.

The video is very similar to concepts for the future produced by Corning and Microsoft. You might be interested in watching those as well:

Thank you, someone understands. But they did probably kept the Siri business going. Today it beats google. The only stealing here is when samsuck made theirs work like Siri and called it s voice.

No one uses S Voice really that really use their phones. Google Now is amazing and has more actually useful functionality and all sorts of extra tricks where SIRI wins on random conversation.

there is right and wrong in what you say. Where in the world have you heard Apple is paying samsung in order to launch products first?? Do you have any 1/10 of evidence proving that ????????? In the meantime Apple wins in both Korean and American courts more than millions over violented patents??? Just that last sentence proves that the game is way too complicated for just a "who's gonna launch first" kind of game! And secondly, dont you think that with ONE phone A YEAR vs. nearly 3 phones a semester makes your hypothesis irrelevant ?? About innovation, I'm pretty sure you don't know what it is. There is a lot of innovation around us everyday we do no even see even when we try. But innovation doesn't imply a good idea nor good results. Smartwatches, leap motion, MYO, curved displays, in two words : wearable technology IS NOT the next big thing. That is just from the user point of view On the other hand, by definition, in innovation there are no bad conception. As long as a concept works in reality, with the set of specifities/attributes you wanted it to have, it is a good conception. But when it comes to the hand of the target user and it actually becomes useless, untrustworthy, unsafe, counter-productive ... Frankly, all those things we see connecting with each other.. that IS future. But that would imply they have a common interface, that would imply so many ressources that SAMSUNG DOESNT HAVE BUT APPLE DO. Simply because Apple has that eco-system and all Apple product can connect with each other, updates after updates, wired or not, more and more seamlessly. And it's not just the function, it's also about what you do everyday. talking to your friends/family ALL your devices, starting a paperwork on your iPad, finishing on your phone or your computer, starting a music project in the train, going back home and using your ipad as a remote mixer... and it's not just that and AirPlay. Jailbreak your device and nothing can stop you. When you have four apple device, someone calls your by FaceTime, all of them are going to ring and if you pick up, they all stop. This is how powerful one UNIQUE system is if it is conceived down to the user experience, down to the single little details of it. You could say FaceTime is just like Skype, but Skype have ads, optionally costs money and doesn't not stop ringing or synchronise all conversations. You can say Whatsapp beats iMessages but actually, they're quite the same regarding features. You could say that and this, but the fact that apple devices belong to one and only one systems makes it all smoother, seamless, faster that the competitors. The day you will be able to back up your Samsung's MacBook Air-like to your external HDD in a wirelessly and automatically manner, while that said unit also backs up your home computer plugged with thunderbolt, all that with file versioning. Trust me you will be very happy. And all your mobiles devices backing up online. My mom got her iphone 5 stolen. She got another one and 30 minutes later, it was just like before thanks to the online back up. This is SATISFACTION, this IS USEREXPERIENCE And there's no such thing on the market except at Apples

The video explains all. Only thing Apple does is either stealing or borrowing others. Then sue them.

K's videos proves how educated you really are, Siri was copied to s voice by Samsung, iPhone 4S is like galaxy s4 spelled backwards by Samsung, the s5 is featured to be gold and 64 bit architecture just after 5s came out, still ignoring life if you don't believe me? Think again...http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/123620-samsung-galaxy-s5-will-have-a-64-bit-processor-like-the-iphone-5s and http://www.indiatimes.com/technology/mobile/new-rumour-samsung-galaxy-s5-to-have-diamond-coating-118296.html

The applications are good, but they need to start developing fast user input methods. With current touch devices, the input method is extremely slow, frustrating and pushing your patience to the max. I don't want to move my arm or finger, trying to touch the correct pixels and wait for eternity until the context menu shows. They sacrifice effectivity in favor of ease of use. It's because they want as many potential buyers as possible, so any dumb person must be able to use it. Even though I own a smartphone and tablet, I can't stand the interaction method. I don't have the patience. There are so many ways to make the UI faster to use, but they keep it dumb on purpose.

We all know they won't do it without apple making anything first. Scamsung only made one thing without following which was curved screen, not very many fans of it, plus there are tons of new things up apple's sleeve of new products.

Samsung and LG are just manufactures for Apple. Apple designs and engineers the displays, chips, and other components they use in their products. And why do they do it this way? No overhead. Get your facts straight. Seems that Apple knows what they're doing with their business and products. Apples products sales, profits, and company worth is getting bigger while samsungs, LGs, sharps different business devisions are struggling. If it wasn't for Apple coming to them to manufacture their components those companies would be in trouble. It's a true fact. Samsungs even admitted they're business devisions are struggling. Apple has made these companies what they are today.
