TetherMe Tweak Updated to Support iOS 7 and iPhone 5s

Posted January 2, 2014 at 4:15pm by iClarified
TetherMe has been updated to fully support iOS 7 and 64-Bit devices like the iPhone 5s. Note that there is no icon when installing, so to use this tweak you must enable it under Personal Hotspot in Settings.

Dynamically enables native tethering or personal hotspot for iOS3.X or newer devices. This should work on any carrier without the need for customized bundles or preferences.

TetherMe also bypasses signature checking and allows you to edit your carrier bundle manually if you so desire. This is required to enable MMS functionality on T-Mobile. TetherMe does NOT enable the loading of APN configurations from .mobileconfig profiles at this time.

TetherMe allows you to enable tethering on your iPhone even if your carrier requires a specific plan or provision that often costs more. For instance if you have unlimited data with AT&T and want to tether, you can simply install this tweak and turn on Personal Hotspot under Settings.

You can purchase TetherMe from Cydia Store for $4.99.

I just purchased tetherme for iPhone 5s for T-Mobile on iOS 7 and this this was a complete waste of my time and money not only did it not work or hide my data while tethering it didn't really do anything for my iPhone 5s >:^( maybe someone can let me know what I am doing wrong because this doesn't seem to work at all .

Yeah, I even went as far as going into ifile and changing the preferences.plist file so the tethering apn was fast.tmobile and it still won't work.

Well i think the ipad uses the mobile apn and the ps3 uses like the pc apn that is why, tetherme should fix this so we can edit the tether profile and for it to stay the way we change it, right now if you select manual apn and then chnage the pcwebtmobile to fast tmobile it goes back to pcweb and i need this so i can hook up my mac on the go. Hpe they fix this with the next update

Jay jay, I have the same plan you do with mobile. I was using tetherme for my ps3 while I'm traveling and it worked great, then out of nowhere my ps3 will pop up with the tmobile screen saying I'm out of tethering. But I can still tether to my iPad no problem. I need to know why does it get caught with the ps3 but not the iPad

i have a 500mb limit for tethering on tmobile and unlimited data for the handset but when i try tetherme won't work to change the usage from tether apn to the cellular apn so i reach my 500mb and now all i got is a tmobile page telling me i reach my limit, now i try to configure the apn manually and not auto but as soon i change it form pcweb,tmobile.com to fast.tmobile, com i come out of the page when i get back it automatically change it back to pcweb this sucks

Now can you hide the usage . because att will know when you are tethering and will tell you pay or they change the plan if you're on unlimited.

Don't care if it looks like AmigaOS. It works. And it's a godsend.
