Sentry, the designer behind the popular Auxo tweak, has posted a set of images that show the design evolution of iOS 7's phone app.

Notice how visual affordances, iconography & button shapes inched their way back in…

We posted on some of the changes in iOS 7.1 beta 3 earlier today. Including a new power off slider.

What do you think of Apple's design progression? Is the design moving forward or backwards? Let us know in the comments!

I like it. It's no longer blocky and still stays true to iPhone. For the idiots who believe that it's looking more like Android or that iOS 5 or 6 were better, get you pr head out from between your legs! One suggestion: for iOS 8, the need to allow us to customize somewhat. If we can do that, then iPhone will always be #1!

Someone understands, they don't compare android or windows to iOS, only some who disagree, but by costumize, do you mean what K below said about moving iOS 6 and 7.0.x everything to iOS 7.1, if so then that will be our way.

Forward thinking if Apple included the middle version with 7.1, but would make iOS 7 2x better is K's idea.
