I was running the Beta and when I woke up the morning my phone was in a crash/safe mode cycle. I uninstalled BiteSMS Beta and deleted the Beta repo, and then reinstalled 8.0 and I've had no problems since. :-)

I uninstalled the beta repo. My iPhone 5s shows ver 8 to install. But my wife's 4s only shows 7.5? Is this correct?

There's a note in change log that IO6 users can only install version 7.5, could it be the reason?

Uninstall the beta package then remove the source for the beta. Once you do that look for it again in Cydia and it should give you the non-beta version.

Ahh...too bad I ditched my jailbreak for iOS 7.1. It didn't take long before the jailbreak started behaving like every other jailbreak ever has on an iOS device...buggy and unreliable. Its always nice to have for a while...but its not sustainable.

depending on the tweaks you install, you device should be fine, you probably installed something sketchy on your phone causing resigns and safe mode crashes.

Agreed 100%! I've been jailbreaking since the Iphone 3GS and haven't had problems...other than deciding which apps and themes to install!

Hi Peter. Firstly iOS 7.1 is not released yet other than beta and there is no JB. Secondly I have been JBing since 3G days and never had a problem. Just need to be selective with the tweaks.
