Leaked confidential documents reveal that Google is planning to open Google Glass sales to any U.S. resident for just one day, according to The Verge.

The Verge has obtained documents indicating that the company will open up its "Explorer Program" and make Glass available to anyone who wants to purchase a pair, possibly as soon as next week. It’ll be a limited-time offer, only available for about a day, and only US residents will be eligible to purchase the $1,500 device. Google will also include a free sunglass shade or one of its newly-introduced prescription glasses frames along with any purchase.

According to the document, the promotion will be announced on April 15th at 9:00am EST. It's unclear if the plan received the final go ahead but we'll let you know if it does.

Back in October, Google unveiled an updated design to Glass that featured a mono earbud. Check out the design here.

The earbud plugs into Glass, so you can choose whether to use it.

Might be a good move. It sort of is a useless device. Something that you need to find a use for rather than the other way around. The beta glass people are a unique set of people. Some actual humble tech nerds. Some elitists. People are going to hate those type. They think they need it. Or that other people don't understand the device. They need more out there so it's less exclusive. People can ease into idea. People hate it like the Segway. No better than the bike. But shows you have money.(elitists) And ugly like the Bluetooth headset, which never really caught on. If you are not on a call take it out of your ear haha.(tech nerds) Maybe in the future it can aid law enforcement with face recognition. P

If dorks want to look more of a dork and spend on worthless camera on their glass, buy this! Bluetooth headphone has a better longevity.

I wouldn't wear those things if they paid ME $1500.
