Apple is Reportedly Considering Former White House Press Secretary Jay Carney for Its Next PR Chief

Former White House press secretary Jay Carney is reportedly in the running to be Apple's next PR chief, reports Recode. Apple's been looking for a new PR head ever since Katie Cotton, the 'Queen' of PR Tech retired back in May.
Carney started worked for the Obama administration in 2011 before deciding to step down in June of 2014.
Former Obama White House press secretary Jay Carney (whose name is also being bandied about for the other big job opening in tech PR, at Apple).
Carney is also in the running for Uber's head of PR position. Earlier last month it was reported that Apple was looking for a friendlier, more approaching PR chief as several other candidates are being considered.

Uh, and why exactly does Apple need such a high-power professional liar like Carney? Makes no sense anyway since Carney is so discredited amongst at least half the U.S. population, you know, the half that would assume everything he said as Apple spokesman just had to be a lie and would pretty much assume the exact opposite of everything he said was the actual truth.
Carney WOULD however be the perfect Billy Mays replacement, hawking miracle orange cleaner and stuff on late night TV on obscure channels like the Vice Grip Channel or some such.

Why switch to android because this guy might come to apple. It's not his fault Obamas presidency turned out the way it did. He was only doing his job and what he was told to do and say. PR people are basically puppets that relay info about stuff that the person telling him what to say is afraid to do themselves. Getting him as a PR guy won't change what apple is about or their products. Most of what PR people say, no matter what company they're with, is "we don't comment on blah blah blah". It's stressfully having to answer a bunch of questions but it has to be a somewhat easy job.
