Apple Support Page Hints at Upcoming Mac Mini Refresh

Posted July 29, 2014 at 7:50pm by iClarified
An Apple Support page may have accidentally referenced an upcoming Mac Mini model. The page was last modified yesterday and documents Boot Camp system requirements for Macs.

The page, first spotted by 9to5mac, lists a Mac Mini Mid 2014 model and its compatibility with Windows operating systems. It is a possibility that reference is a simple human error and that the newly launched MacBook Pro was supposed to be changed instead.

We haven't heard much of a Mac Mini refresh, however it was last updated in late 2012, so it is due for a refresh. An updated Mac Mini could see upgraded haswell processors, more RAM standard, and 802.11ac Wi-Fi.
