Local San Francisco radio station KGO 810 recently offered a brief update on Apple Campus 2 construction. The radio station highlighted Apple's sustainable construction, and its efforts to carryout Steve Jobs' vision for the company's next headquarters, building it better and greener than anything else.

"Apple came in from the beginning saying they were going to do it better than anyone else" said Rick Kitson, spokesman for the City of Cupertino.

Kitson says Apple is exceeding any local or state standard with this recycling efforts -- reusing HP recyclables such as concrete, trees and more. Apple has even setup its own onsite concrete crushing system.

As noted in the report, over 9,000 full-time construction jobs will be created as a result of Apple' s Campus 2. Check out some aerial photos here.
