Apple's Beats Music Makes Documentary on Spike Lee's 'Do The Right Thing'

Apple's Beats Music has made a documentary for the 25th anniversary of Spike Lee's Do The Right Thing film on racial and social relations in New York City. The 23 minute documentary shows Lee and the rest of his crew visiting certain spots in Brooklyn where the film was shot.

25 years ago, Do The Right Thing was released. Follow Spike Lee as he strolls down memory lane (in this case, Stuyvesant Avenue) with the cast from the iconic film and residents of the legendary block.

Then, enjoy the 25th Anniversary Block Party with guests Dave Chappelle, Wesley Snipes, Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def), Erykah Badu and one very special performance from Public Enemy
.

Towards the end of the film, we see footage of a huge block party that Beats Music held in the same neighborhood where the movie was filmed. One of Beat's strongest assets is its 'coolness' and cultural tune, so we aren't all surprised seeing this documentary from the company.

Apple announced earlier this month that the $3.1 billion deal to Acquire Beats and Beats Music had closed, making Beats officially a part of Apple.
