Apple Campus 2 Construction Filmed With GoPro Drone [Video]

Posted August 31, 2014 at 2:44pm by iClarified
Check out this video from jmcminn that takes a closer look at Apple's new campus construction via a GoPro drone. The footage was shot using a DJI Phantom 2 and a GoPro Hero 3+ Black edition.

The project has made significant progress since the last photo posted earlier this month.

Rick Kitson, a spokesman for the City of Cupertino, says Apple is exceeding any local or state standard with this recycling efforts -- reusing HP recyclables such as concrete, trees and more. Apple has even setup its own onsite concrete crushing system.

You can learn more about the campus by watching Apple's promotional video here.

Take a look at the video below!

I believe a Dji Phantom 2 with a Zenmuse H3-3D gimbal for GoPro was used. And yes, those quadcopters are quite steady thanks to their integrated GPS feature. However, the stability witnessed is in great part due to the gimbal. I'm getting one of those like PRONTO! ;)

I been wanting to see a flying machine to stay in place in the air, but agreed, too still. At least let's hope it will have a zoom feature.
