I installed it last night. MacBook Pro (15-Inch, Early-2011) 8GB Ram 500GB Hard Disk Three issues: 1. The install process arbitrarily deleted directories in my postgres installation (via homebrew). I had to reinstall to correct it. 2. Chrome helper processes are not reporting properly to Activity Monitor. They all report "Not Responding". But there's actually nothing wrong with them. 3. Certain vendors, it seems, have pegged their major release licenses to OS X releases. So, if you use Mailplane 2, or VMWare 6, or a few other pieces of software, be prepared for an expensive surprise.

Maybe I am missing something, but what is the point f releasing a new Public Beta after having released the GM Candidate?

Is for Pubic, not for developer. GM version is for Developer. :)

I know that. But it doesn't answer my question.

The public betas are basically just the developer previews except those in the public beta receive the updates later. There have been three GM candidates released so far for the developers. The 6th public beta is simply the catch-up update for the public. In other words, the 6th public beta is the third GM candidate, released slightly later for the public. Hope that clarifies everything.
