Aaron Sorkin has confirmed that Christian Bale has been hired to play the role of Steve Jobs in the upcoming Sony film based on the Walter Isaacson biography.

Screenwriter Aaron Sorkin discusses Christian Bale's role as Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in the coming biopic. Sorkin talks to Bloomberg’s Emily Chang for an installment of “Studio 1.0.”

In an interview with Bloomberg, Sorkin revealed that that Bale was chosen without an audition. The role is an extremely difficult one. Bale will have more words to say then three typical films combined. Sorkin says, "He's going to crush it!".

It's said that Danny Boyle will direct the film and Scott Rudin will produce along with Mark Gordon and Guymon Casady.

The fuk?? Why him, he ain't the best actor? He don't even look like a Steve jobs. Yet alone he couldn't do a better job in facial aspects like Aston did on the Steve Jobs movie. Really disappointed, but we will see how this guy does playing a Steve Jobs.

Yeah, good old Ashton. Still laughing when I think about him totally overacting Job's walking style. So hilarious...let's see what Bale can do. He can play him perfectly in his last days that's for sure.
