I will see about comparing every health tracker to iWatch and if they do better, it's iwatch for everything else other than health tracking.

I agree! That's not copy at all. It's totally different product. Apple's one is more smart watch. Microsoft one is a more like a Fitbit (fitness tracker) with smart phone feature. I am a iPhone user but I actually like the Microsoft one. That's not perfect. But it has pretty much all features I wanted.. Apple Watch doesn't provide the feature that I expected.

What do you mean? It does more than the watch!

There are more products on the market. Apple is not the first. Pebble has the similar kind of smart watch too. There are two or three kind of similar device on the market - One smart watch - like Pebble, Apple Watch, Samsung Gear and Moto 360. The other kind of like fitness tracker - Fitbit, Jawbone, Misfit, Garmin and etc. The last kind of Fitness Tracker with some smart phone features - Samsung Gear Fit, Fitbit Charge HR/ Fitbit Surge, and etc. I see Microsoft Band is also belong to the last kind I mentioend. I personally like that one as it also has the sleep feature. Fitbit has it and I like it. I don't really need to wear it every time when I go out. But I am interested to wear it when I am at the gym or at sleep. That's how I found out that I was so busy at work and I actually sleep less than I thought; constantly. The graph also shows me the quality of sleep. Surprisingly it actually quite accurate (on Fitbit Flex ). I am interested to see how good on Micorosft Band.

So you just want a health tracker. Just wait until the apple watch comes.

Based on the presentation, the feature on first gen Apple Watch is probably won't have the feature(s) I needed. I think I would get Fitbit Charge. But this Microsoft Band surprises me not only on the rich of features but also the price. As we know, MS would cut their product line in a heartbeat. But I guess I might give it a try if the review is good. When Apple release one with what I needed, I will switch. The first gen of Apple Watch is too expensive for my budget as well...

What needs to satisfy? I just said about what more it does. What exactly can it forget? It blown away to me how you use things like the iphone on it for something small and personal. For me though, I want a camera on the top or right (as long as Apple can make it optional for left and right hand users. They can have left to).

At this point, I am satisfied with what MS Band offer (assuming the app and the Band works as good as it promote). It has all the features that I wanted. Actually, everything we do on a smart phone can more or less - personal. (personal email, contacts, calendar, Facebook). If you do more, it might also has your bank app, deposit checks, shop online, Paypal , Google wallet, Apple Pay, fitness tracking. I can see our smart phone will be eventually as important as our wallet. Some people will use it. Some might prefer otherwise. It's personal preference.

After watching the Youtube video and the feature of this band, I am actually interested to get it. The design is no special. It looks like Fitbit. The upcoming fitbit will cost $149 too. I think I am getting this Microsoft one is better and have all the feature I needed. But I do want to make sure that the app and features are working on iPhone 6 first. I hope Apple has one with similar feature in the future.

As an iPhone 6 user I like the fact that this device, even though a Microsoft product, will work with the iPhone. The only reason I'd want a wrist band device would be so that it could track pulse and blood pressure, etc. And this would do it for a lot less than the Apple Watch.

As a health related accessory I like it a lot more than the Apple Watch. It looks much lighter and more suitable for use while working out. As one who doesn't like wristwatches the smaller, thinner, and lighter, the better. I'd be far more interested in this device.

Wouldn't give my hopes up. I don't care for how a health tracker looks as long as it does the job. Lighter however that's barely a difference judging from 2 small personal devices.

There's still the other factor of it being half the price of the Apple watch. That is significant.
