Apple Releases iOS 8.1.1 Bringing Improvements for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S

Apple has released iOS 8.1.1 for download.

This release includes bug fixes, increased stability and performance improvements for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S.

Ah found it IMessage and FaceTime activation showed up unsuccessful after the update ! Switching them back on made it work and I see a new option inside FaceTime settings : iPhone cellular calls !

why the size of the files are less than iOS 8.1? is there any problem with the files or this is normal?

Point updates don't have to be huge files because it's not updating the whole OS, just patching specific parts.

It might be only a 4s update. They did that once in ios6 for the iphone 5 i think it was.

Go to the Jailbreak Wizard and try to restored the OS to an earlier version. Jailbreak from there. I'm not sure if it will work for I do recall reading something about the OS not being signed anymore..but it may work if you have your phone on Airplane mode.
