Withings Reveals iOS-compatible Activité Pop Watch with Activity and Sleep Trackers

Posted January 5, 2015 at 7:55pm by iClarified
Withings revealed the Activité Pop analog watch with built-in sleep and activity trackers. Activité Pop is a following up of last year's Withings Activité watch.

The Activité Pop is always up to date and adjusts its time automatically as you move across time zones. Withings says the watch lasts up to 8 months on a single standard watch battery and is water resistant up to 30 meters.

The watch features two hands, one for the time and one to track activity and progress throughout the day. Using the Withings Health Mate App, users can set 'goals' and have the watch vibrate when the goal is achieved. You can even challenge your friends with the app to help motivate yourself or others to get fit. The Activité Pop can track walking (steps), running, and swimming during the day, and track sleep during the night.

“The activity tracker category has a huge problem with abandonment, and so consumers don’t really get to see the benefit of long-term data and the impact it can have on their health,” said Cedric Hutchings. “Activité Pop’s fashion-forward styling, price point, and ease of use combine for the most accessible activity tracker that we’ve ever seen.”

The Withings Activité Pop will be compatible with iOS at launch, with an Android version following. You can pickup the Withings Activité Pop exclusively at Best Buy for $149.95 starting today.

Stylish, will have to see in person. Might finally be the first smart watch one may wear with a suit?
