These are instructions on how to request the desktop version of a mobile website using Safari for iPhone.



Step One
Tap to launch Safari from your SpringBoard.

Step Two
Navigate to a website that displays a mobile page by default

Step Three
Tap the address bar then instead of scrolling down, scroll up. This will reveal a hidden 'Request Desktop Site' button. Tap the button to load the full desktop version of the website.

Pity it mostly doesn't work most of the time. Plus other things that don't get displayed properly on the mobile version of the pages.

70-80% of the times it doesn't work. Chrome works 99% of the times

True that feature almost never worked with me ..!? Keep hoping it'll get fixed with every update but now i feel maybe Apple doesn't realize its a problem..!!?

Doesn't work most of the time. Like on apples iTunes activation lock check site.
